Many thanks for the extra help - ordered the keys and now have the radio out properly and 100% for sure, the serial number (on the sticker on the top) is M189976.

I think it will have to be removed so that you can quote the correct Serial Number on the label

Ford V Serial codes are not usually available for free from anywhere on the Internet
(unless you can blag it for free from Ford) as they are not calculated using software but require access to the Ford factory database( via a Ford Dealer)...which is not commercially available as software.

I tried 5294, it said to wait 30 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes nothing happened rather than one more try attempted. I tried 3 diffrent numbers so far.
Any other suggestions plz

Make sure you are quoting the correct Serial Number as any numbers found in car documents , audio guides etc. are often incorrect.
The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing
