The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

I have posted my question earlier also and got reply that need correct model number, well i tried 6+1 and 6+2 it does not work for me.. I do have the serial number i.e. 286837470911, also attached photo of model details.

I am new to the forum thing.. so dont know how to reply the same comment

Your radio is a SANYO (SAM) make (for Far East and Australasian radios) and unfortunately the code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service .

It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

help with ford stereo 6000cd

Hi my dad has a code for his stereo but we have tried to enter it several times and then he thought he had a new code so have entered that we are on code 12 but do not have serial number have tried taking stereo out but can't. Have held number 6 and pressed 1 got number come up 50702000. But have no number begin with m. Is there anyway of getting the unlock code plz can someone help him. He is 82 and misses his music.
