unlocking a ford ka radio

looks like somebody has been playing with my radio before i put the code in. can anybody help me to unlock it?:confused5:

If it says LOCK10...it can be reset

If it says LOCK13 ..then it can only be reset by your Ford Dealer or a Radio Decoding Service.

If it just says LOCKED then leave it SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to reset itself

My radio shows locked with a 3 in the bottom corner.

leave the unit switched on . it will automatically reset itself

I tried leaving the unit switched on but it didn't automatically reset itself.
The radio switch off after a few minutes if you don't switch the car on.
Please explain the steps to follow to unlock the radio?

Remove from the car and connect it to a spare battery on your workbench...then leave it SWITCHED ON ..UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself
