Hi,

Please note that code entry is only possible when "CODE" is shown in the display. If the display continually shows four lower bars " _ _ _ _ " then the unit may be codelocked and will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible.

Code Entry as Follows: Switch Radio On - Display Shows " CODE " then " - - - - " Enter CODE in the order it is read - eg: For Example, To Enter Code 1234 Press Preset 1 then 2 then 3 then 4 The Code will Enter Itself Automatically

Also quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes

Leave the radio SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset This can take as long as an hour or even longer

^- IMHO this should be a sticky just to let people know.

Once again, masterskay62, BIG thanks!


Above method works like a charm (re-tested it), but I did following to get the "ENTER CODE" menu back:

- unplugged the two ISO 10487 connectors and the antenna
- left the radio unplugged in the car while I was on work (8 hours)
- when i came back, i replugged all, turned on the radio and the code menu appeared
- after entering my code, speakers started to bang ;-)

I hope this helps anyone.
