I used the code from the machine itself. I tried that and it still says Error ( up to 5 now. ) . So, is it looking likeits been re-coded?

So, excuse my naive question, but do I need to hold the last digit in for longer?

Code Entry as Follows:

Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" CODE " then " - - - - "
Enter CODE in the order it is read - eg:
For Example, To Enter Code 1234
Press Preset 1 then 2 then 3 then 4
The Code will Enter Itself Automatically

so once entered what's the display do?
that T0N814 is right did you double check off of the radio and not out of a book

Make sure you press the final button in order to store the code for at least 10 seconds

Oh . How do I find that code out then?

That is definitely what it says. TON814

2146 is definitely the right code for T0N814
So it may have been recoded.
