Also quote the 14 character SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
PH* * * * * * * * * * * * found stamped in the metal casing.
Plus quote the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode
If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes

I apologise for such a what might seem a stupid question question, I really don't want to be trying to press the number 2 button (for example) to cycle through incase it does not work that way. And I inadvertently lock the radio.
Many thanks

Check the Security Number TOD 629 quoted is accurate

Leave the radio SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset This can take as long as an hour or even longer.Originally posted by Gitch View PostAfternoon all,
I would be very thankful if someone could help me out here.
Just purchased a V plate 306 Estate.. But the radio was asking for a code. Only piece of paper the previous owner had also had two separate numbers, and neither of these worked.
The Radio is a Phillips 22RC200/65
TOD 629
PROD NO: FD0199239005239
PHAPKFX-9005239
REF.PEUGEOT: 96 346 764 8000
PHC9005239
There is a very loosely attached bar code on the top of the radio
C6 PHK9005239 P
C7 0000000104 A
I have tried the 1.2.3.4 that I had previously read this morning, and the code works out to 1332 but upon entering the code, I now have displayed: 4 ERROR And the radio will not respond. (I assume I did not get the code correctly
)
Have I foobared it?
Is there a way to make it 'forget' / back to allowing you to enter the code
Many thanks for any assistance that my be provided.
Thank you
Carl
Try code 0755
