3000 Traffic - unlock code

Hi there, I have a second-hand Ford Fiesta 1999 with a 3000 traffic radio. I had some work done at the weekend and now the radio is asking for a code - which I don't have. Where do I find S/N etc. to find out what the code is? Cheers!

Take the radio out and the seriel number will be on a lable on the side

hi my girlfriends fiestas radio traffic 3000 isn't working so i unplugged it to check connections..need a code before she gets home :P

and if anyone knows what the problem could be that'd be great. No sound coming from the speakers but if i turn up the volume get a dull pulse from them. no static or anything.
