hi there i have a 206 xs come with a cd player i changed the battery and it asked for a code looked for it in the book and what not couldnt find it so like a mug i payed £20 for the dealer to get it! but now i have the code the unit wont save that i have put the code in every time i take the keys out it forgets and asks for it again! anything im doing wrong or should be doing other then putting in the four digit code.

It looks as though it may be a wiring or connector problem...or maybe a fuse..
Your radio should have 2 battery feeds to it. One is wired permanently and this is for retaining the security code + radio station /other memory
The other one is the main battery feed that is connected via the ignition switch (This is the one that operates the radio/CD/tape )
It looks as though the first one is missing -
i have not played with the plugs tho apart from un plug and plug back in. aslo the cd player should turn on for 30mins without the keys it wont do that any more ether
