Philips RC604 car radioCD unlock code?

Hi, I have a Philips car radio/cd (a Hyundai) which has had the battery removed and its now asking for a code. It is second hand so I unfortunately do not have the code. Can any one help? Numbers on it (that I can see) are:

model RC 604

79 RC604/97 (could be g7??)
CG009902 (first 2 figs/letters of this are a bit hard to read, could be wrong?)

PH604CX0010151

90793160497900 (on top of a barcode)

00999020010151 (on top of a second barcode)

the only way to get the radio code is to read the eprom inside this radio as there are 2 versions of this radio.

Reading EPROMs sounds difficult, sounds like specialised hardware/software sort of stuff.... I assume that this is not an easy thing to do....

No other options at all?
