Radio Works, CD says ERR CD

Hello, I don't know if this is similar to what others are experiencing.Ive got a Renault Scenic, and the Radio works, but when it comes to CD it says ERR CD,ive tried checking the handbook,it has the CODE in there ,so..what is wrong with the CD player.
