unlock code for philips car 400 stereo

My radio does not have a screen display however it is analogue with buttons 1-6. Is the code entry the same or different?

I believe it should have a separate display unit plugged in the back otherwise it will be difficult to select a radio station.

Presumably it is not the original radio fitted into your car

If it is not fitted then you will have to carefully carry out the code entry instructions above listening for the correct "beeps"

Switch On Ignition (No Need To Start Engine)

Turn Off Stereo

Press & Hold Preset " AS " and

Switch Radio On - Display Shows

" SAFE " And Then Shows " 10 - - - - "

Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit

Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit

Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit

Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit

If the correct code number is now shown

Press & Hold Preset " AS " Until the Unit Beeps

Any idea of the code for my radio. I've had a look on here but my display is analogue 1-6 rather than digital display.

Hi , I would appreciate any help. flat battery has caused the Philips radio in my rover to look for code to start up again .

any ideas how to input code too as backlight in display is gone too

Sorry....your code will only be available from someone with access to the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free from anywhere on the Internet

I recently became the owner off an Opel Vectra B from 2002 and it came with an aftermarket CD/MP3 player which is working well but doesn't have the ability to be controled from the steering wheel,then I remembered I have a stock CAR400 cassette player from a previous Opel Vectra B I owned 5-6 years ago that I changed then with a DVD player with GPS and reverse camera.Long story short,I lost the code from the CAR400 and I don't remember it anymore,if someone could help me find out it's code I would be very thankfull.I will give the code that the previous person gave.
