Radio code needed for a renault laguna

Thank you but i've just tried the code and it doesn't seem to have worked, the same code was written on the bottom of the stereo with a marker pen which suggests it is correct. I have previously read else where that you have to give the stereo a certain amount of time to reset between attempts, is this true? Or is there likely to be another explanation e.g. I've made a mistake some where.
