That`s automatic on some cars.

Either remove the radio from the car and connect it up to a spare battery supply on your garage workbench or kitchen table.

Use a spare battery or battery charger


Alternatively switch ON and go for a very long drive without interruption.

tested to go on a long ride today, but my stereo turned off after about 20 minutes anyway... i'm out of ideas...

no broken fuses.. seems like it's the radio is broken in someway. i tested to connect the radio to a battery charger and the display said "error" in the beginning, but after about 15 -20 minutes did it turn off itself.. So it's the radio that turns itself off.. looks like it gonna be a new radio afterall. :/

Hello, Can anyone help? I did some welding on my Renault Kangoo and removed the battery cables but when i replaced them the radio code that came with the vehicle, didn't work (6147)!

The details that are on the radio are:-
