I took my astra 02 plate in to a local garage now the radio says safe like others have said. Could someone look for a code for mine please?

If it cant be found is it possible just to put another radio in from halfords? or do i need another vauxhall philips one for the connectors?

Sorry....will only be available from the Main Dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to obtain this code

It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

If you are looking for a straightforward replacement then you will have to use one with similar physical dimensions and the same connector arrangement at the rear.

If not then you will have to buy the correct connector and wiring harness

Radios often look the same but if measured they can be completely different !

Hi, Does anyone have a code for my vauxhall astras radio please? Its a phillips car 400, serial no: GM0400V1624778. Disconnected the battery to replace the radiator yesterday, then my dad told me i could have left it connected but unfortunately i can't find the code now. Any help appreciated, Thanks!

The 400 in my Vauxhall Omega has stopped working since l had to change the battery.
When l turn it on, the screen says "safe" and wont let me do anything.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. l am sick of driving without music.
