Can anyone help? My car battery had to be replaced and I can't find my radio code. The serial number is GM 90 506 173 and the radio is in an old Vauxhall Astra.

Quote ALL the LETTERS+NUMBERS on ANY BARCODES , LABELS or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING.

There should be a 14 character Serial Number beginning with RG or RN or PH or GM or similar

Thanks for the information. I guess I will have to visit my local Vauhall dealer as I don't have the tools to remove the radio to find the serial numbers.

Alternatives are 2 pieces of bent , wire coathanger or 4 x small drills or 4 x small Allen Keys or 4 x small screwdrivers or even 4 x darts.

An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4 securing clips

Help needed with a Philips 400

Hi.
The 400 in my Vauxhall Omega has stopped working since l had to change the battery.
When l turn it on, the screen says "safe" and wont let me do anything.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. l am sick of driving without music.

The number stamped into the side of the sterio is GM0400T1384347
