The display is a separate unit that is plugged into the back of the radio unit.

If you do not have a display and wish to enter the code "blind" then you have to ADD 1 EXTRA PRESS to each code digit.

This is because ONE press displays 0 (ZERO) , TWO presses displays 1 (ONE) and so on.

So for your code 9 9 0 8 it is (10 ) ( 10 ) ( 1 ) ( 9 ) presses of buttons P1 > 4

So
you press P1 TEN times (10)
P2 TEN times (10 )
P3 ONCE (1 )
P4 NINE times (9 )

I´m very sorry to just register this super cool forum and start begging for a code, but my lovely wife is going nuts about no music anymore in the car.
