There should also be a 14 character Serial Number...usually stamped in the metal casing

Thanks Reg the 14 character number is as follows: CM0400W1944791.

Is there a way of resetting the "Safe" mode too.

Hi Reg wonder if you could help me. I have managed to take my car radio out, its a phillips 400 to see if there is a swtich or anything to reset it from SAFE mode, I recenlty purchased the car and the seeler said he didnt know how. I had hoped the code would be on it too the numbers are:
90532621 other numbers are WA029820 and bar code 90222139675202 and 00398201944791.

Dont know if you can help, but it would be much appreciated.
