You could try 9129 ...but I don`t think these Audi/Blaupunkts can be calculated from the Serial Number

thank you Refworts I had to do the hard way and read the mcu and its sorted now thank you for your help and you are right these can not be done by serials unless go to dealers.

Just as a matter of interest , what was the correct code?

the code was 0245 and this was not the original code according to the documents of the car it seems like some one had changed the code prior to coming to me serials no's of the radio were as the documents, I had to ground pin 5 and 7 of the mcu to read the code motorola cracker did the job.
