Thanks to all who have given help so far. Radio resets itself once disconnected from power and left for 30 mins. Then wiat 1 h when reconnected. Enter code as on paperwork and checked code with Reg. Thanks Reg. On entering code radio returns to wait 1 h. Anyone with any ideas on what to do now!!!! Thanks

If my calculated code of 5904 is the same as the one in your paperwork...and the Serial Numbers quoted for me to calculate the code are from the radio itself then it means that
1....You are not entering this code correctly (see the instructions below)

or


2...If you are , then it means that your radio has been recoded to a completely different number to the one it lefty the factory with. If this is the case then your options now are a Decoding Service ( your local Car Radio / Audio Shop perhaps?) or buy a replacement radio with a code.

CODE ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS

Blaupunkt Montreux C30

Turn on the radio, the display will show 'CODE' followed by '0000'

Press Preset Button 1 repeatedly for the first digit
Press Preset Button 2 repeatedly for the second digit
Press Preset Button 3 repeatedly for the third digit
Press Preset Button 4 repeatedly for the fourth digit

Finally press the station ^ button to save...and your radio should now work
