I got through to a different person at the service center and they told me to add 1212 to the last 4 digits of the serial number to arrive at the code:

7535+
1212
------------
8747=


I tried that code, it did not work..... but gave some insight as to why they need the serial number and how some units are done. I don't know if thats a dealer specific thing or not.

Has anyone else noted that the 3rd last and the last digit are the same across multiple philips (ie my last code was 2050)?
