  • Pug 307 code needed please.

My old CD player was playing up so i've got a new one now, but Peugeot want £60 for the code!!

    Can anyone help me out?

All the information on the sticker is as followed:

Model: Clarion PU-2471A(g) (Dunno if the last part means anything?)

    Below it says:
    Clarion RD3-01 96488011XT
    Serial No: CL054230962565G

Hope someone can help me out, thanks :cheers2:

The only CLARION code available for free from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio has a BARCODE LABEL with a Serial Number beginning with C7000000****.

Otherwise you have no choice but your Main Dealer or a Decode Specialist or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop

If there is no serial number beginning with C7000000**** on any labels on your radio then you are out of luck and will have to pay somewhere.....so that`s the only other way (Believe me...you will be wasting your time trying !)

That`s why you see lots of cheap Clarion radios (without codes) on Ebay

Took the radio to a radio specialist, and he said they could de-code it.
1 hour later we got it back but now it doesn't ask for a code it's just blank. The only button that works is the eject, i know this because it makes a noise when i press it.

He refunded our money and then said it was a faulty radio! Even though it was asking for a code before it went into them. Any ideas what the problem might be now?

            Thanks.

I would suggest that your Decoder Man has blown up the code memory chip.(EEPROM)...so that`s why he has refunded your money.

They normally have to unsolder it to read it and it is easily damaged.

If he was a genuine professional , he would have replaced it as they do not cost very much.....but that would mean admitting he had blown it up in the first place !
