hi guys nice site wondering if any one can help ive just got a y reg 206 with cd radio in it but it needs a code and i dont have one for it seen on here that if i use the s n off the unit some one mite be able to help me out cheers here goes lol hope this is rite

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
C 7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio

hi experts, I have a 206 with a philips radio that locked up after a dead battery. I tried different codes but it didnt work out. the message i got now is "7 error".

I noted down all the numbers/tags I could find on the radio, here they are:

hope someone could help me out with the right unlock code. do i just have to wait that "7 error" disappears and I can enter a code again?

first can you please check TOW 601 because i think your code should be between 1111-6666 and if i am right the code below will not work

Please note that code entry is only possible when "CODE" is shown in the display. If the display continually shows four lower bars " _ _ _ _ " then the unit may be codelocked and will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible
