        This DELCO/VDO/SIEMENS code only available from Main Dealer or a Decoding Service

          Battery gone flat, took it out to recharge DOH .....I can't find my original pass code

            Hi all,

            Wonder if anyone can help me got a Vauxhall Astra with a CDR 500 radio on, problem is battery went flat and lost my old code.
            Serial No.GM050031681483 any help would be greatly appreciated.

                  Thanks, does anyone know any good (preferably cheap) decoding services that work and give you the code instantly. its getting quite annoying not having a radio specially considering my car doesn't even make a good noise :frown5:

                    There is no instant code for these apart from your Main Dealer who will have access to the original factory database..

                    Otherwise the unit has to be physically connected to a laptop to read the memory chip (EEPROM)

                    The quickest method will be a local Car Radio / Audio Store who should be able to do it while-you-wait......but not for free.

                          If not ...then anything up to £100 (honest ! )
