I changed the lamps behind my central control panel last week. I had to remove the original radio from my car, and after I put it back, the Radio asked for code.
Any help would be appreciated, I was looking for a resolution for long time before I have found Your great forum!

I don't have this code, I bought the car one year ago without it unfortunately.

also I was sold this unit but it was not as described. Is it possible to use it without a display and if so what sequence is the code inputted when you hit the various buttons. ie does it go 0,1,2,3.. or 1,2,3 ... 0 ?

Try code 1202

The first press of the button usually displays 0 so the sequence should be 0,1,2,3....... if you are entering it blind then ADD 1 to each button press for each digit of the code.

Switch the ignition key ON

Press and hold AS button and the ON button at the same time

Display Shows SAFE then goes to 10 - - - - with a "Beep" from the speaker

Press Preset Button " 1 "repeatedly until the 1st Digit of your Code is displayed
Press Preset Button " 2" repeatedly until the 2nd Digit of your Code is displayed
Press Preset Button " 3" repeatedly until the 3rd Digit of your code is displayed
Press Preset Button " 4" repeatedly until the 4th Digit of your code is displayed

If the display now shows the correct Code number then

Press Button AS and hold to Enter and if successful there should be a "Beep" from the speaker and the radio should switch on

Vauxhall ripped me off once already...as I couldn't get my radio out without help, they were kind enough to take my radio out and tell me the serial number for £19. They said requesting the code for it would be further £30 :/
I thought I try here first to see if I could get it for free. I guess I'm not lucky..
