Please note that code entry is only possible with the ignition switched on, and when four lines are shown in the seperate display. If the display continually shows "SAFE" and a number less than "10" then the unit may be codelocked and will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible. If it does not reset after this time, or the display shows "SAFE" with no number to the left, then you are not following the correct code entry procedure, and your ignition has not been switched on.
Code Entry as Follows:

Switch On Ignition (No Need To Start Engine)
Turn Off Stereo
Press & Hold Preset " AS " and
Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" SAFE " And Then Shows " 10 - - - - "
Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press & Hold Preset " AS " Until the Unit Beeps

Thanks so much. Hope it works but before I need to be patient enough. I got "6 SAFE" notification which as I understand means 6 more attempts.. Instruction says 10 min. to reset but as u wrote it takes about 2 hr. Thank u for help I wish me luck.............................

Hi,

The usual, battery switched off to fix an electric fault, cant find the code. Not sure what details you need but this is what I have from the back of the manual ?
