I have an 1995 astra merit, i replaced the original stereo with a kenwood one when i bought the car but now im selling it on i need to put the old stero back in so i can keep my shiny new one! I dont know anything about cars lol, but my dad told me i'll need a code to put it back in and i stumbled across this website looking for an answer. you guys seem to know your stuff, i just wondered if you would know the code for my stereo? I'm not sure what details you'll need so i'll just put up everything on it!

Philips stereo:

TYPE: SC 201 (C)
No: 90 381 124

N.6/00746/15377/A

There are some other details on there too but its all a bit faded and confusing, im not sure what details you need?

hi you need to write all numbers and letters inclued the ones stamped into the metal casing barcodes/security etc.

Unfortunately your CDR2005 (DELCO/VDO) codes are not obtainable for free (using the Serial Number) from anywhere on the Internet as access is required to the original factory database which is only available to the Main Dealer or one the larger professional Decode Services.

The alternative is for your radio to be taken/posted to a Decode Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Shop who will plug it into a laptop and electronically read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM)

Hello,

I see you are helping a lot of ppl here, i hope you can help me out too, the Blaupunkt Car 300 in my Opel Vectra needs a code after the battery switch, i asked the mechanic to pull out the radio and give me the codes, he didnt write it down really clear but this is what i got:

90541344

2F2

Thats literrally what he wrote down, dunno if its enough to generate the code, but thanks a lot for the effort!
