  • Nissan Almera lost code!

    Hello everyone, Happy New Year!
My Nissan Almera battery went flat and after re-charging, the radio is now asking for the code.
The radio model is PN-2424M and the 14 digit serial number is CL052930120673.
Can anyone help me out please?
    Thanks in advance!

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code that can be calculated (using a serial number ) anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
    (Note ...not beginning with CL.)
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) inside your radio

      Thank you for your reply.

I've just gone out and had another look, there is just the one label on the unit and although there is a barcode, the only number near it is CL052930120673.

I'll have a word with the Nissan dealer tomorrow, hopefully they will let me have it.

      Thank you for your trouble.
