Hello there! I'm glad to find this forum.
Winter (-25'C) killed my wife’s car battery and rest of the story is quite obvious... Radio locked & no code.
Please help me to get the music back to her car.

What kind of service is it? Is the ones on the internet or something needs hardware or software? Because they look so expensive on the internet around £25. I could buy second hand radio and CD player with that sort of money.

A Radio Decoding specialist is where they connect the actual radio to a laptop to read the code from inside the memory chip (EEPROM) and special dump reading software. (Try your local Car audio store)

Perhaps cheaper to buy a unit with a working code as it

I tried what you said the day before. But only thing which happened is that I lost one more life so I have 5 lifes left. I asked for a code in another forum and they gave me the code which you gave 3494. Now I just wonder whether or not these code are changeable. If it is it might be changed by old owner. Can you advise me something to do please because I really missed radio on the car and I dont want to give a lot money for new one.

It looks as though your radio has been recoded to a completely different number.

Hi Thanks for your help I tried 3 times but code didn't work. Di i do something wrong

I press and hold the AS button and turn the radio on.
It says SAFE and 9---- appears.
I enter the code using 1234 buttons and press AS.
Screen disappears for a second then it say 8----

I tried 3 times so only 6 attempt left.

Could you help me for this please?

Switch On Ignition (No Need To Start Engine)

Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" SAFE " And Then Shows " 10 - - - - "
Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press & Hold Preset " AS " Until the Unit Beeps
And the Radio will then Turn On

One day in order to change ignition key, I took the battery cables of and than radio is gone. I would be grateful, if somebody gave me my unlock code for my radio.
