Xantia Radio Code

Hello guys,

I bought a MK2 Xantia 3.0 V6 last month, but the radio manual that came with the car is for a MK1 car. Therefore the unlocking code is incorrect and cannot unlock the radio after a battery change.

Can someone help me with the correct code?
The code I have has a 7 in it, my radio can only have 4 digit code and each digit from 1 to 6.

Hi.
Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code that can be calculated (using a serial number ) anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C 7000000 + + + + on a separate label somewhere on the metal casing.
(Note ...not beginning with CL.)
If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service or your local Car Radio / Audio Store who will connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) 93LC46 smd inside your radio

If it is not urgent to give me the serial number of the vehicle (VIN) that begins with VF7xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I called the main dealer, they could not find the model of the radio in their system apart that it was a Clarion.
They said they only can see the code 1121... so let's see if it works.
I am waiting to reset... as it already had the maximum attempts

All sorted had to wait with ignition on the first position for a couple of hours and then the radio displayed CODE IN.
The code that Citroen has given me was the correct one.
