  • Lost Philips radio cassette code

I recently had to have my Astra suspension coils replaced and the garage disconnected the battery. As a result my radio cassette player is locked out.
Unfortunately I have lost the unlock code.
    I have a Philips (326559176) CAR400 radio-cassette player.
    No.: 24 455 379.
There are two 14 digit (serial?) numbers but I don't know which is which:
    9022 213 99754 02
    003 0128 3078834
A 4 digit number has been hand written on the radio-cassette label but it has a '0' digit in it. I thought valid digits were from 1-9 only. If you think this is OK I am happy to try this code. Otherwise can anyone help me with a valid unlock code please?
Thank you very much for your help.

0 is a valid digit as the code is in the range 0000 - 9999

If your code fails to work , then please post ALL the LETTERS + NUMBERS found on any LABELS or BARCODES or STAMPED IN THE METAL CASING.

note: the numbers you have already quoted are not enough

      Lost radio cassette unlock code

Thank you very much for your quick reply.
After a more intensive scrutiny I found, engraved on the side and hidden under a label, the radio-cassette serial number: GM040013078834.

I also repeat the list of all the info printed on the main radio cassette label:
      PHILLIPS
      326559176
      No.: 24 455 379.
      Type: CAR 400
      2F3
      Bar codes: 9022 213 99754 02
      003 0128 3078834
      WA020128

This is all the info I could find. I hope it is enough.
Thank you again for you help.

Sorry...I don`t think this code will be available from any of these free Help Boards

          Shame about that.
Thank you very much for your help anyway.
          Meantime, any other comments?

Thank you very much for the offer. Unfortunately I don't have the necessary leads to connect my radio cassette to my PC. However, my friendly local garage has just done this for me and successfully recovered the correct radio code.
Once again, many thanks for everone's help.
Unless you wish any more info from me, I believe this thread can now be closed?
