VW Golf 2006 Radio Code

Hi,

Can anyone help I have a VW Golf 2006 1.6i with the radio in safe mode, no code came with the manual, bought the car second hand...i have the radio serial number and am from South Africa not sure if that makes a difference with VW and their codes...please help!!!

Sorry....your code will only be available from someone with access to the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free from anywhere on the Internet

Who would of thought that something like a code meant to "protect" the owner would be such a nightmare but I suppose if you want something done properly you have to pay...we have a saying in South Africa "nothing for mahala" which means nothing for free...oh well suppose I don't have a choice, I will have to pay the dealership...
