    Oh well

Thank-you for your efforts RegWorts. I am curious when you say there's no code available on the internet. Do you get your codes from another website or do you have some software?

No , I do not obtain any codes from another website.

If I can not provide a code , then I do know several other sources who may have a larger database than my collection who are prepared to give out a code for free (In such cases , I normally refer any enquiry directly to them )

For my codes , I use a collection of software acquired over the past few years (including purchased commercial software) plus a knowledge of how to manually calculate some codes ....I also have accrued knowledge/experience of knowing what codes are normally avalable for free on the Internet and the ones that are not.

Not all makes of radio allow their codes to be worked out from the Serial Number.

....and some are NOT calculated but use a database software ( eg. PHILIPS + GRUNDIG )

If a code is not available from anywhere using the Serial Number, then the radio will have to be taken to a decode specialist to open up + read +recode the memory chip (EEPROM)....which can be quite expensive.

So whereas you will see FORD+ most BLAUPUNKT codes readily available from many forums, you will also discover that PHILIPS + GRUNDIG are not quite so available for free .......and DELCO + most CLARION are NOT available from anywhere for free

Unfortunately , I think your Fiat / Grundig will be one of the ones NOT available for free.

Let me know if I`m wrong !
