Hello,

I have a 1998 Fiat Bravo with a Grundig AD-182 H4 installed in it.
A few weeks ago, my battery went down and after replacing it, I was sorry to find out that I have to enter a code in order to continue using the CD player
I've checked with the person previously owned my car and unfortunately, he doesn't know.

Before letting go and buying a new one, I've searched the Internet and found this amazing place!
Can someone please help me finding the code?

Ahhh...maybe that's the answer ... I didn't know that the radio turns itself off after a while if the engin is not running. I must confess that I tried this reset thing when the engin wasn't running. I'll try to reset the radio tomorrow when I have to drive. Thanks again and if I have problems again, I will ask again for help

if you go on a long drive and then leave the radio on it may help.
i think your find that the radio will turn itself off after 20mins if the engin is not running.

I tried that already (I mean...with the reset thing) but after 20 minutes, the display is turning off and I think the radio too... It's something wrong with my radio or with me? )

If the display continues to show "SAFE", then the unit is codelocked and will have to be left switched on for up to two hours to reset

Then once reset:
Clock:
The clock will need to be set on recoding, and is a fairly simple operation.

Press and hold the "CLOCK" button until "M2" is shown
Press Presets 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 until the correct time is shown
Press "CLOCK" to return to the radio

Then radio code:
Code Entry as Follows:
Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" SAFE " And Then Shows " - - - - "
Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press " TP " To Enter

Help me! First of all, sorry for my english Befor asking your help here, on this site, I entered many (wrong) codes on my radio car and now it's only SAFE who's appearing on the screen then... the display is turning off after a while and of course the lines _ _ _ _ not exist anymore ( I can't enter the code that you gave me)...What should I do?
