Thanks, but unfortunately it didn't work. I tried 3 times, which locked it again, I then reset it and tried one more time and it definitely didn't work. Thanks anyway.

Thanks for the code. i went to enter it but the display says "6 SAFE". No matter what button i push, how long i hold down the AS button nothing clears it back to the code input. i've tried disconnecting the battery again and removing and replacing the stereo but nothing seems to work. Any suggestions.

Leave it SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to reset itself

instructions security code

i need the instructions of how to enter security code for holden barina 1999 model.
i have the code but dont know how to enter it.
one of the numbers in the code is 8 and i only hav 1-6 on my radio?
when i press a number down it only goes up to four, eg, pressing number 6 down goes through 1, 2, 3, 4 then says error.
my instructions in the manual dont help at all.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
