The radio has to be removed from the dashboard

Then post the 14 character SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
RN* * * * * * * * * * * * found stamped in the metal casing.

Also post the SECURITY NUMBER. This is found on a label on the metal casing in the format TOA123 or TA123 or just A123 at the end of a barcode

If in doubt post ALL the letters+numbers on any labels or barcodes

Unfortunately these Renault ALPINE codes are not available for free as the code cannot be calculated using the normal Renault PHILIPS Security Code Calculator.(so 0048 is not the correct code )
Sorry....Main RENAULT Dealer or Radio Decoding Service only for this code

It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

Turn on the radio and the display will show 'CODE'
Use the steering controls for code entry.
Press the [ ¬] button then rotate the thumb wheel for the correct first digit
Press the [ ¬] button then rotate the thumb wheel for the correct second digit
Press the [ ¬] button then rotate the thumb wheel for the correct third digit
Press the [ ¬] button then rotate the thumb wheel for the correct fourth digit
If the correct code is now shown on screen,
press and hold the [ ¬] button for up to 10 seconds to store the code
