My uncle ask me to fix is car radio. I've read the instructions, and i have the code, but i think the radio is lock because of to much tries because:
i can push it a little, enough to disconnect the cables. After connect it again i turn the key on, and when i press the I/O radio button appears in the screen "SAFE", and nothing happens after (I wait the 3 seconds).

I don't know who introduced the wrong codes, but now the solution i see is to Reset it.

I've read this "Try leaving it switched ON UNDISTURBED for as long as possible (overnight) and then it should reset itself."

how i do this?
i need to turn the dashboard lights on (the ones when you turn the key a little)?
when i press I/O the display blinks but after leave the button the display shows the date again, is it turned on?
Leaving it on over night the battery doesn't discharge?
