There should be a 14 character Serial Number somewhere on the radio....quite often stamped in the metal casing

hi all

My radio in my fiat punto recently broke so i purchased a new one.
The new radio displayed 'CHECK'.
In the user's manual written, needs a 4 digit code if radio installed into another car.
I do not know how it has to enter the code, and what code.

There is anyone out there who can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

there were a few codes already written on the radio and they are listed below if they are of any use:

Im not sure which of those numbers are important but I thought I would put them all down to be safe, once again any help towards the code would be be appreciated.

this Can Check states its checkin common area network as this radio is locked to the previous car the only way round is to alter the dump inside 25c160 eprom or take it to your nearest radio decoder who can over ride the can check. pm me for more info
