Rover / Land Rover Code required please?

I have numerous bits of software to get Ford / BMW codes, but can anyone help with this unit ?
It's fitted to a Land Rover Discovery, but also fitted to Rovers, a Philips unit I believe. Can this be done by serial number, or do I really have to get the eeprom out for a radio worth so little?!

Serial - RG710FX4006335
Model - 2 DC710 61L

Think LR refer to this as R660, but not sure.

Sorry....will only be available from the Main Dealer or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service to obtain this code

It will not be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
