Can't see GM...

Apologies if this is in the wrong place, I'm looking for a code for my 08 mondeo titanium but I can't find the GM serial number that everyone is posting. I have a feeling when you say it's on the metal casing, that means to pull out the radio but mine is built into the dash as it's a touch screen nav unit. Do I still need to take this out or is there another way?

Btw, it's asking for the VIN number, anti theft protection.

The car wasn't recognising the key (it's not a turn key, push button start one) so it went into Peoples (Fords) to get reprogrammed and now it's asking for the code...

Any idea?

Hi,

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

It usually begins with M or V followed by SIX digits ...such as M654321 or V654321

Sometimes pressing buttons 6 & 1 together or 6 & 2 will display this number

Otherwise remove the radio from the dashboard and post the SERIAL NUMBER found on a label on the casing

Thanks for the quick reply. The 6+1 and 6+2 didn't work as it's a touchscreen so there aren't buttons to press. Also I checked the link on removing the unit but it's not in any of the models listed (I checked them all to be sure)

We can only help with the code if you provide the correct Serial Number

You will have to remove the radio

Try searching YouTube for removal information
