Peugeot 206 blaupunkt radio code needed

Does error 5 mean my radio is broke or can a code still be put in for the radio to work

Leave the radio SWITCHED ON ....UNDISTURBED until the screen resets the display to CODE

This can take an hour or longer

As soon as the radio is turned on it says error 5

How do I get the number on. Only goes from 1-6. Will the code work. Just keeps saying error 5

Please note that code entry is only possible when "CODE" is displayed on the split screen. If the unit is codelocked it should be left on for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible. If it does not reset after this time, then all of your code entry attempts may have been used, and the unit must be taken in decoding Radio Service is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet.

Code Entry as Follows:

Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" CODE " then " - - - - "
Enter CODE in the order it is read:
For Example, To Enter Code 1234
Press Preset 1 then 2 then 3 then 4
The Code will Enter Itself Automatically
