Philips CAR 400

Hey!, I recently help my neighbour with his car, unfortunately the radio turned into "safemode" when I removed the battery. He has a radio " Philips CAR 400" same as the threadcreator, anyway, he got the radio from a service place many years ago, he can't remember if he did get any "radio code pass" or not, and if so he has no idea where it is.

I would be glad if you could help me with a new code:

Leave the radio SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset This can take as long as an hour or even longer

again me.. it seems radio was broke after visiting technician, it doesn't pay off to be repaired... but I have found another one that has no code.. so again asking for help its Philips CAR 400 GM 0400Y2938623T .. so can any one help with this one, many thanks.

Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
