Thanks! It's the right code. I've also find a code written in a glove compartment. But, radio is still locked, from trying other codes. Is there any other way to reset the block timer other than leaving ignition on?

Leave the radio SWITCHED ON ...UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset This can take as long as an hour or even longer

Been trying to do this, but the whole unit goes off after a few minutes and also keeps draining the battery.

I do have the right code, and I have never had a chance to enter the code. no incorrect codes have ever been entered

It says CODE ERROR because wrong codes have been entered previously so make sure you have the correct code..

The usual reset procedure is to leavethe radio switched on ( without any interruption) until the display resets itself.

This can take an hour or much longer
