IMMO means the radio has to be electronically linked to the car's electronics.

Hi Thanks for the reply, The radio as not been disconnected. I just replaced the battery. Is ther something I am missing? Should the radio just come back on as normal without a code then? Stuie

No....You also have to have the code ...but unfortunately your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet

I have been in touch with the dealer and they say the radio gets the code from the ECU on reconnection. Thanks Stuie
