I have been reading, do I have to take the stereo out to give you the serial number? I have only just got the second hand car and trying to understand how much of the trim I have to remove to get to the screens to allow the stereo to slide out to reveal the serial number.

How long do they codes work for? Are they one off, or can they be used again and again for the same stereo? I need to use it to eject the disk a few times?
