1193 is the code for the given serial number. It looks as though your radio has been recoded to a different number.

Check serial number again then:

Code Entry as Follows:

Switch Radio On - Display Shows
"CAR" flashes 6 times

Vehicle Registration Number flashes 3 times

Press preset " 1 " and display shows "1 - - -"

Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
Press preset " 4 " repeatedly for 4th Digit

If the correct code number is now shown
Press "Left Rocker Button" To Enter

If the display continually shows four bars " - - - - " then the unit may be codelocked and will need to be left switched on up for up to two hours to reset before another code entry attempt is possible. If it does not reset after this time, then all of your code entry attempts may have been used up, and the unit will need to be sent to decoder services to be decoded and reset.

Thanks everyone for your effort, I double checked the serial number, it’s the one. I entered the code the right way, “1193” was shown on the display than I pressed the left rocker button. Now it shows “---“again. A good option seams to bring the device to a Bosch service point see what they can do.
