Ford Blaupunkt Travelpilot ex lost radio code, Help please

I have purchased a used travelpilot EX to replace the on in my titanium x, which was supposed to come with the code, and it was supplied without the code, i have been asked for the serial number so that he can get a code for it.
i have told him that it is BP051366108452, this number is stamped into the metal and on the sticker but he tells me this is not the serial number, can someone let me know what the serial*number should look lie how many digits or where i could find it etc
