stereo series number and radio code

My car is holden barina 2004.The battery is flatten. I cannot use the radio.

I even don't know my stereo series number and I found everywhere. Could you tell me how to get the stereo series number and radio code.

I have VIN no. Is it useful?

The correct radio SERIAL NUMBER is required for a code

First remove the radio from the dashboard.

Fitaudio.com – The Worlds Largest Car Stereo Removal Database…

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes and a 14 character Serial Number stamped in the metal casing.

This information can then be used to see if a code can be calculated

I met another problem. I cannot enter my radio code.

Like this instruction:

Switch the ignition key ON

Press and hold AS button * and the ON button at the same time

Display Shows SAFE then goes to 10 - - - - with a "Beep" from the speaker

Press Preset Button " 1 "repeatedly until the 1st Digit of your Code is displayed
Press Preset Button " 2" repeatedly until the 2nd Digit of your Code is displayed
Press Preset Button " 3" repeatedly until the 3rd Digit of your code is displayed
Press Preset Button " 4" repeatedly until the 4th Digit of your code is displayed

If the display now shows the correct Code number then

Press Button AS and hold to Enter and if successful there should be a "Beep" from the speaker and the radio should switch on



Yesterday the operation was normal. It required me to enter the code in the screen. I pressed AS button and On at the same time. The screen shows "10----". After I entered the wrong code for three times. It showed "7----". So I stopped typing and closed my car.

Today I start my car and press "On" button. The screen shows "7 safe". I press "As" and "On" together. The "7 safe" is always on. No response.It confuses me.
How could I do so that the screen can show "7----" and the code can be entered? Thanks.
