Radio code for Vauxhall Corsa CDR 2005

Hi, hope someone can help

Trying to get a code for a Delco CDR 2005 in a 51 plate Corsa.
As I'm struggling to get the unit out with the tools to hand (coathanger) and before I order a pair of removal keys can someone tell me if I'm wasting my time as forums searches on this unit don't seem to give much joy - or is it more dependant on the serial number?
