Astra Mk4 - CDR 500

Hey guys, so today I had the worst experience at Halfords ever... I went in to ask about the factory fitted stereo in my car and how easy/convenient it is to replace it with a better stereo...

Anyways the guy came out to "look" at my stereo and within 5minutes he had pulled it out and was trying to sell me some stereos for £90-£150!! As I was only enquiring I wasn't interested in making the purchase so I just said not today thanks...

Anyways he forgot to inform me that I would need to enter the code to get the radio working again... so as you can imagine I'm quite furious with Halfords! So your help would be fantastic!

The Radio is a CDR500(D)
No: 90 566 821

Found this down the side as well it was engraved on the metal: GM0500W9396440

Don't know if it will help at all but thought I best share it!

Sorry....your code will only be available from the Main Dealer database or the unit will have to be taken into a Radio Decoding Service

It is unlikely to be available for free or cheap from anywhere on the Internet
