Stuck in MassStorage Mode

Hello,

I upgraded my Box to FW 1.45, attached an EMMC and activated the MassStorage mode. Drive was detected and everything looks good.

Then I pulled the USB-Connection to attach another EMMC.
After connecting the box again it is recognized as USB-massstorage, but not as Riffbox anymore.

I tried the TP1/TP2 trick and put it to recovery. Reinstall of 1.45 is possible. But after that the box is detected as Massstorage device again.

How can I leave the massstorage mode???

You should disable it from eMMC/SD Access -> eMMC/SD advanced -> Mass storage ON/Off.

I cant, cause the Manager does not recognize the box as riffbox when it is in massstorage mode.

The riffbox driver can not be installed with error code 10 (can not migrate device) when the box is in massstorage mode.

I tested this on Xp32 and Win10(x64).

Interesting. Box should be enumerated normally, with additional USB Storage device.
Could be some bug with firmware or something wrong at Your PC.

I was able to recover from masstorage mode.

1. Attach Riffbox without an emmc in socket
2. Disable the USB-Massstorage device in windows-devicemanager
3. install NXP-LPC driver from Link
(the driverpack in jtagmanager 1.69 does not have the correct driver)
4. riffbox shows up as LCP-Usb device in device-manager
5. start jtag-Manager
6. make firmware update

In fact there is indeed a bug in firmware, related to mass storage mode when eMMC is not present. Sometimes Windows pnp won't pickup composite usb device properly.

As for driver, version from year 2014 is the best (with 386, x64 and arm folders).
